In this particular scenario I would recommend casually making your own official document. Just include scope of work and contact info. Possibly including the details regarding the recording of the process would make the locksmith feel a bit more at ease. Good luck!

Hello BP. My name is Josh Hively. I am just starting my journey into real estate investing. Although I have always been interested, I have very little experience in real estate. I have done some minor residential handyman work over the years, but have worked in commercial facilities maintenance for the past 10 years. Originally from South Carolina, I currently live in Columbus Ohio. My current goals are to build passive income by entering REI by multi-family house hacking and acquiring a handful of buy and hold properties over the coming years. Over the past few months I have been working my way through the BP podcasts and learning about all of the different investment strategies. I am now beginning to start building connections with local investors, agents, contractors and such. I am very much looking forward to being a member of the BP community, learning from all of you, and one day hopefully contribute back to the BP.
