@Ryan Giguiere where do you live in Canton? I work in Canton 5 days a week. 

I absolutely will @Dale Beach and @Account Closed I know my sisters fiance is one and my mom used someone else to do her inlaw above the garage.  

@John Petraroia great news. Sounds like we definitely have some momentum here. 

I cannot comment on his knowing that specific area - although I am sure he does. Any questions I have I always ask Rick Farina of Howard and Page in Avon CT. It might be a little out of your way but he definitely seems to know his stuff. 

Met with @Judy Yablonski this past weekend and started talking about the idea of starting a Northwest Corner meet up. There seems to be some newer people (myself included) and we both thought everyone could learn from each other. 

I know that Torrington might be a central location but we are certainly open to other suggestions.

What do you guys think? Is there enough interest to move this forward? 

Hi @Dale Beach I am going to visit my mom in Kennebunk in a few weeks - she has a great contractor or two I am sure. Once I talk with her I will reach out! 

I will be attending tomorrow - will be good to meet everyone. 

Welcome to BP - from a fellow CT resident. 

My dads family had a bunch of cottages in the Poconos. They aren't there anymore to my knowledge but the McCard's Cottages sign still hangs in my cousins basement. 

@Casey Bollock I think it is great you had this idea right out of the gate. I wish I had started planning for something like this a lot sooner. You are in the right place to learn.
