@Rick Santasiere where are you from? I have a buddy who is an agent - long story - but there is a small debt he owes me - so at least for the first deal I do I will probably use him. In the future I may be looking for an agent that is more geared towards investors.

I am thinking right around my birthday of next year I will seriously start looking as I am paying off all my smaller debts (except my current house note haha) and will have more money for a down payment etc then.

Hey welcome. I am new here also. I work a lot and am looking to do something similar. Best of luck!

Hi all,

Been reading a lot of things here and figured I should make an account. My name is Jim and I am interested in transitioning from flipping cars to eventually owning a few multifamily homes that I can rent out to bolster my income.

I currently live in New Hartford CT and rent out the loft above my garage so I am not per say a new landlord but a multifamily property will be my first real "income property". I am looking to hopefully buy something in the Torrington area as multifamily houses are more common there and more affordable.
