@Shiloh Lundahl Your rehabs look very nice on the website.  I wish there was a local investor like you to partner up with.

@Andrey Y.  You should consider putting your savings in a high yield saving accounts.  0.10% is so low compared to other online banks such Ally (1.20% at the moment).

@Andrey Y. I'm not sure what your situation is but as a civilian working for the VA I get up to 5% of my ADJUSTED basic pay, which is the sum of basic pay and local market pay. VA matches dollar for dollar the first 3% and then 50 cents per dollar the next to 2%. Basically that equates to 4% of ADJUSTED basic pay. I know this for sure because I just looked at my pay stu.

Hello BP members,

Has anyone invest in portfolios with the startup AlphaFlow?  It seems like a good option for me.  Thanks in advance.

@Andrey Y. Count me to support putting money in 401K. Like many said above, it's free money! I used to put money in TSP up to the matching portion but now trying to maxed it out. What is left over I save and invest in REI.

How are you able to put money in Roth when you're a physician?

@Andrey Y.  Many physicians don't make $350K/yr unless they are specialist.  Your point bout Morris Invest is still valid though.

Bumping... I'm interested in the topic of this post as well.

Tough to manage business/property while in medicine, particularly in med school and residency. That’s your safer bet in the long run. Easy to hire or restart once you’re in practice.

Continue staying up with literature and consider buying with Physician loan if rates are low when starting residency rather than renting for 3-5 years.

I was thinking of passiveincomemd but WCI and POF are excellent sites also.

I agree w/ Brian.  Stay in medical school, which isn't easy to get in the first place.  You can always go back to real estate investing after you're done w/ residency.  There is anesthesiologist who runs a blog about passive income.  He's pretty successful.
