Hello everyone! So in talking about driving for dollars, I always hear about the common signs of distressed properties like an over grown lawn or the windows being boarded up but recently I've heard about a lesser known sign where you look for trashcans being out on the curb while the neighbors trashcans are brought in. I'm really curious if there are any other signs that a property is distressed that maybe not everyone knows about?

@Courtney Rollins Thanks for replying! This was really useful information, I'll definitely keep an eye out for where I can help. From what I've gathered I just have to get out there and take control.

@Lynnette E. Hello Lynnette. Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into doing this but I think I'll probably have trouble looking for things I'm good at related to real estate

@Jeffrey Grieshop Hey thanks for the advice Jeffery. Recently I've actually been wanting to go to a meet up as well and I'm really excited to finally get started! I just don't have much I can offer people at the moment due to my experience.

So I recently have been thinking about how I can build upon my networking skills and one of the techniques I've seen to gain a mentor is to add value to them or help them in some way but I haven't really seen how to do this. Does anyone know how I could add value to someone to make a meaningful interaction and relationship? Thanks in advance!

@Dutch Langley Oh yeah for sure I'm not expecting to know everything, just the basics. Also that story sounds like a nightmare. Glad that investor got out when they did
