@Joshua Ruvalcaba

Welcome to the BiggerPockets community!

Have you thought about what market you might like to invest in and what strategy you might want to go after? I'm a firm believer in the house hacking strategy. I am a house hacker myself and also focus on helping others get into house hacking.

No matter where you stand in your real estate investing journey, BiggerPockets is the ultimate resource for all of your investing needs. I’d suggest starting out by networking with as many other investors as possible and be an active participant in the forums.

If you haven’t already subscribed to the BiggerPockets podcasts, do that ASAP. Look for meet ups in your area (virtual), attend free webinars, start reading as much as possible on any and all topics related to investing and real estate. Use the forums to help you search for the answers to all of your questions. If you can’t find your answers, then create your own post!

I'm not sure if you've thought of out of state investing or making a move, but if your interested in Colorado markets and house hacking/investing opportunities out here just let me know. I'd be happy to share my experiences so far.

Feel free to DM me with any questions.

Good luck and get educated!

@Seedo Dvon

Great! House hacking is a great way to get your feet wet. Depending where you decide to invest, house hacking opens up a lot of doors and potential for decent cash flow on from your first deal. Your also living for free (or close to it), get the tax benefits of home ownership, building equity from other people paying your mortgage, and depending on your area gaining appreciation. I don’t know much about the Miami market but if your curious about Colorado where I’m at, I’d be happy share some examples for your reference. Let me know.

Welcome to BP! It sounds like your already making some good progress! Keep on educating as much as possible. Have you looked into meetups in your area? Great way to meet other people that are already doing what your looking to do.

Let me know if I can help anyway and good luck!

@Seedo Dvon

Got you, that’s pretty intense! Is there a specific reason your thinking of Miami? What strategies have you thought of? Buy and Hold, Single Family rentals, house hacking etc?

Welcome to the community and good for you taking action so young! Honestly the best thing you can do is continue to hammer in on the education and surround yourself by as many people as possible that area already doing what you want to be doing. You will naturally become who you surround yourself with. Also, be patient with yourself and don't forget to enjoy being young!

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

@Seedo Dvon

Welcome to the community! I'm curious to learn a more about what state your coming from. In most cases, there is a way to make a deal happen. Can you provide a bit more insight into your situation?
