Whether you're a first time investor, curious about real estate and building wealth, a seasoned investor, or just looking to meet some really great people, come join us at Wibby Brewing in Longmont! All are welcome at this monthly meet up, where like-minded people will get together and enjoy good conversation, drinks, and food. This is a great opportunity to share knowledge and network with investors in Boulder County and the surrounding area. Feel free to bring friends and family (Wibby is a kid friend/dog friendly venue).

Welcome to the BiggerPockets community!
I spent some time in Idaho working for the Forest Service a while back, it's a beautiful state. It sounds like your right on track to make some big changes for you and your family in the near future.
Good luck and keep getting educated!

Welcome to the BP community!
I fully agree with @Nicholas L.
House-hacking is a great way to invest. You need a place to live either way so why not have people pay your rent, build appreciation, get the tax deductions from home ownership and cash flow on top of that.
Reach out if you have any house hacking questions and I'd be happy to help!

Welcome to the BiggerPockets community!
Have you thought about what market you might like to invest in and what strategy you might want to go after? I'm a firm believer in the house hacking strategy. I am a house hacker myself and also focus on helping others get into house hacking.

I'm not sure if you've thought of out of state investing or making a move, but if your interested in Colorado markets and house hacking/investing opportunities out here just let me know. I'd be happy to share my experiences so far.
Feel free to DM me with any questions.
