@Mitchell Handley

Have you looked into the Arkansas State Commissioner's website?

You can get the details here: http://www.cosl.org/catalog.aspx

Or, just Google "buying tax delinquent property in Arkansas."

Hi @Kris Mead

I'm a real estate attorney in Central Arkansas. My primary real estate focus is confirming the deeds for properties purchased at tax deed sales, so naturally, that is where most of my knowledge lies.

Have you looked into the Arkansas State Commissioner's tax deed sale? The one for Pulaski County is scheduled for April 9th.

Last year, more than 600 parcels were up for bid at this particular auction.

You can get the details here: http://www.cosl.org/catalog.aspx

Or, just Google "Arkansas Tax Deed Sale."

Hi @Denterrius Leverson.  The Little Rock area has a lot of great investment opportunities. I have several real estate investment clients who live in the Dallas area and own properties in central Arkansas.

@Sonnett Peterson You never mentioned what state you are in. If in Arkansas, the mobile home / tax deed issue can get a bit tricky. I'm not sure about other states.

@Dan Ruiz The auctions take place in person, but you can also bid by mail (assuming you know which property to bid on, and send in your bid in advance).

Properties that are not sold at auction are listed on a "post auction" list, and you can make an offer on those through the mail.

Most out-of-state investors come into town for the one day auction, or send in offers on the post-auction listings.

As you are interested in Little Rock, Arkansas, I'd encourage you to check out the Commissioner of State Land's Tax Deed auctions. You can find them online here:  http://www.cosl.org/catalog.aspx

Little Rock is in Pulaski County, and they usually have HUNDREDS of properties up for auction, each year. I believe there were over 600 properties, at last year's auction. Single family, multi-family, commercial... you name it.

The auctions for Pulaski County take place April 9th, but the Commissioner hasn't added all of the details to their site, yet. Check back in a few weeks for more information. They will add links that take you to pictures, "interested parties," and more.

Or, just google "tax deed properties Arkansas."

Good luck!

There is a lot of information about the Commissioner's tax deed sales online. The auctions start April 2nd, and run through mid September. You can see the dates here:

http://www.cosl.org/catalog.aspx

Right now, this is just a list of county names and dates.

However, check back in a few weeks, and they will start adding LINKS to the county names. When you click on the link, it will take you to a listing of all the properties for that county that are scheduled for auction.

Or, just google "tax deed properties Arkansas."

Good luck!
