We have several potential properties in central Arkansas lined up - for either wholesaling or buying and holding. We are looking for some local general contractors who can come out and give estimates on repair costs. Hello all,

I am Deborah Hardin, from Arkansas.  I am an attorney in Cabot, and practice real estate law (among other areas). I help many of my clients with their investment properties, and watching them grow their wealth has inspired me to do the same.

I am a big fan of learning, and am always listening to podcasts and audiobooks about various topics. I heard about the Bigger Pockets community from one of the many real estate podcasts that I subscribe to. 

My real estate investment goals include building a portfolio of single family rentals, apartment buildings, and vacation rentals. These will be managed by property managers.

My biggest goal is to build a retirement community for the seniors in our area. I envision a community with pools, clubhouse, social gatherings, shuttles to nearby shopping and medical, "handyman" type services to help seniors with maintaining their homes and yards, someone who can run errands, etc. This goal is inspired by my grandmother who lived in a retirement community that she loved, but still needed a bit of help to live independently.

I am looking forward to participating in the Bigger Pockets community.  Thanks for having me!
