@Gabriel Mabry  Haha, I know what you mean. Whenever we come to visit, we try to get there really late, or really early to miss the stopped traffic.

I know what you mean about the country setting, I live about 3/4 of an hour outside of Columbus. I like it much better. :)

@Gabriel Mabry  Welcome to the site, and thanks for your service. Sounds like you have had some pretty awesome experience already. I would checkout the BP podcast if I were you, it is one of the few Real Estate podcasts I have consistently listened to for the past two years. Pretty cool stuff.

My sister and her husband live in Charlotte, awesome city. There are a lot of biggerpockets members from there as well.

@Jeff Cashell Welcome to the site. I'm not experienced with buy and holds, so I would suggest listening to the BP podcast, if you haven't already. They have hade some awesome guests on there talking about buy and holds.

Nice job with the list. While I agree with Bill G. that these books can sometimes have some "fluff" you need to wade through, I think the overall vision and mindset ideas that come from some of these books are invaluable. I know for me, the E-myth changed the whole way I look at business.

@Engelo Rumora  Sounds like and excuse to travel to me. ;)

And knowing you, you worked for 12-16 hours this week, but you got twice as much done as a normal man.

@Account Closed

Haha, Awesome story. I moved just north of Columbus a couple of years ago so I know what you mean. What part of Ohio are you investing in?

@Engelo Rumora, wish I was in Dallas. :) Actually, what are you doing in Dallas? Just because you are killing it in Toledo doesn't mean you can actually take time off and travel around like that.

Sarcasm off.

@Dave Metsker  What do you do with the Vacant probates? Do you search for the owner using a skiptracer like you would with a absentee owner vacant?
