Sorry for the grammar errors above, I didn't proofread my post. But anyways, let me know if any real estate investors know of any good search tips for the MLS.

I found recently a house for sale on the MLS below its assessed property tax value. I found out it was a bank owned REO, free and clear, and missed out on the deal on a great deal by 24 hours. Is there anyway to search the MLS for homes listed / for sale below their property assessed value? Or is there any custom programs / services / software that offers such search capabilities? It would be interesting to know if such search functions exist.

@Antonio Lopez Congrats! Do you personally buy the homes and keep them as buy and hold investments, or do you re-sell to investors or are you wholesaler? I would be interested in purchasing some of their short sale properties in the future if that is an option. Let me know, thanks!

Welcome! Definitely do a "Miami" Search on the Bigger Pockets to read people's view on the best and upcoming investor friendly areas in Miami / South Florida. This is a tricky market to navigate and find deals, but they are out there. Also put yourself out there and network, network, network to find investors and clients.

@Eddie Hernandez

 Welcome, South Florida is a great, interesting, and dynamic real estate market! You will learn a lot on these forums.

Also, if any real estate agents or anybody affiliated with the real estate community in any manner want to get some free PR / advertising by writing a guest post, then let me know as well!

I am not sure if this is against the forum rules to ask for this, so moderators feel free to let me know, but this is for the benefit of my local real estate community.

I started a blog (www.miamirealestateinvestorshq.com)for local Miami / South Florida Real Estate Investors to provide articles and information to aid them in navigating the very diverse and competitive market real estate market.

If anybody would like to write a guest post about anything related to the Miami real estate market, it can be featured on the website and act as a source of free advertising / name recognition for you, but more importantly to help fellow investors.

Please PM me if interested!

I put a description below of the website.

Miami Real Estate Investors Headquarters (HQ) is comprised of a community of real estate investors who are firm and avid believers of leveraging knowledge and experience from those who have an excellent track record in the business. Real estate investing is serious business and is not for the timid or faint of heart. As the old adage goes, “action without knowledge is reckless and knowledge without action is useless”. Real Estate Investments are about numbers, mass market psychology and market predictions. It is our intention to educate and network our community of current real estate investors and to motivate people interested in becoming real estate investors in the future as a tool to achieve the success they desire.
