Larger developments can tell you a lot on what the bigger guys are doing. There is definitely activity that way, but as you can see not much going on at the main street west of the tracks so that means the residential areas will see even slower growth. If you want to hold for the long term then you can invest in something.

Sounds like you are doing great so far! In the future I would probably move towards larger multi family buildings, that way you can tend to just one property rather than ten different ones and at the same time keep track of all the bookkeeping on each one, maintenance schedules, etc.

Hi @Elbert D.. If you are planning on building equity without going through the process every so often, I would be searching for something that you can hold for the long term. You have to figure out what you can put down and how much money you will qualify for in terms of a loan, analyze the market to see what you can get and where the area is heading, and then look for the right opportunity that will cash flow and maybe even let you house hack. Take your time and you'll find something.
