Hello Everyone!!

My name is Rocky.  I bought my first investment earlier in the year (a duplex).   I'm living in one unit and renting the other.  I must admit, I really didn't have a solid plan before taking this leap of faith.  I read a few books, had coffee with friends who invests, and surfed the web.  All I knew is I really wanted to invest, and I couldn't keep waiting for the perfect time.  The task has definitely been daunting, but I am enjoying the learning process.  I am definitely happy with the decision in my buying the duplex.

Since, I'm new to real estate investing I'm still trying to determine my niche and strategy.  For now, I'm focused on small multi-family units, and intend to hold onto them for the long term.  I'm still trying to establish a network, a team, and  relationships with other investors.  I might have much advice or knowledge to offer, other than some moral support.   

I'm very excited about getting the opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with everyone!
