I used a HELOC to fund and renovate my 1st investment property. I felt this was my best option to get into REI. I purchased it back in October 2018 and I'm glad I did. Now onto the next one! I'm going to get an increase on it to assist in funding the next one. It has to be a BRRRR so I can pull my money back out to do it all over again!!!

LOL ... I tried to create my website on Wix, but it's confusing and I'm getting frustrated.  Let me check out your website and get back to you when I'm back from vacation.  I appreciate you reaching out to me.

@Lafayette Payne ... All of what @Conn G. said, but I skip looking at the prop on Zillow and go straight to the parcel search with the address.  To find out more information about the owner, I skip trace using truepeoplesearch.com and/or fastpeoplesearch.com  I'm in the process of working with a skip tracer to get more accurate contact information, but those two sites can get you started.

Well wishes ... Cassandra

I'd go for a personal loan. I get mailers from So-Fi and BestEgg. One can loan up to $100k; the other one up to $50k. My credit union only loans up to $25k so they aren't as appealing. HELOC on your primary residence could be a good option too.

Good day BP Fam!

I'm a new wholesaler and am finding alot of tax delinquent properties. I've spoken to a few sellers who say I'm not interested in selling. I see they sometimes owe between $12k - $22k in back taxes. When you talk to the seller, how do you bring up the issue of them oweing taxes? I figure it would be nice to use this information as leverage in trying to bring them to the reality that they need to make a move... hopefully selling it to me!

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

@Corey Martin  You're very welcome!  I don't even know how I managed to stumble upon the site, but I know if I hadn't I wouldn't be where I'm at today.  Thank you @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner and everyone who works in the background for putting such a platform together and keeping it going so we can all prosper!
