Hello everyone!  I'm new as well and have been reading this referenced book ... The Book on Flipping Houses by J. Scott and have listened in and took notes on the last two webinars on the site.  Looking forward to meeting up with you guys and absorbing some info!  I'll try to link up on the next meeting as I now have 3 jobs ... THE HUSTLE IS REEEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!

Hi Peggy! I hate to hear stories such as yours. I moved from the banking industry and am now working with an incorporation company here in DE. Those of us who wish to have financial freedom need to keep pressing on with our dream. Have you considered reaching out to anyone you know (doctor, lawyer, dentist) that may have a retirement nest egg that may be willing to invest in you as a private lender? I'm still early in the REI learning game, but I read that option so I figured I'd ask. I wish you absolute success in your ventures!!!

Hi Jonathan! I work for a DE business incorporating company and you would still need to file taxes in those states that you're qualified to do business in. I'm new to REI but have been reading up on the site on the pros and cons to having one LLC and having multiples. It seems from what I'm reading the single LLC can get a little hectic with all the different properties balancing bank accounts, bookkeeping, taxes, etc. If you have separate LLC's for each property they seem more contained. I hope this helps :)

Hola everyone!!! I've read through the ENTIRE thread (LOL) and find it refreshing to find such awesome people close to home who are willing to help newbies and share insight! I'm from the NCC area and have been researching REI and ways to find money for my 1st flip. Hoping to do a few flips to stack some cash then move into some buy & holds for longevity. Please let me know if you guys are planning a meet up :)
