@Ken Robinson - my apologies for the delay in responding... neither the tag you or @Russell Brazil used worked... anyway, your question is too broad as there are so many factors that affect the cost... impact fees, site development, sprinkler requirements, well and septic vs. public utilities (and their respective tap fees), level of finish, total SF, and on and on.

I suggest you go to a Benjamin Moore shop... they have a top notch product (ADVANCE) ideally suited for painting cabinets.  Talk to them about their contractor clients who do this type of work and ask recommendations.

@Jason Gullick, you might want to reach out to local excavating contractors or those from out of the area that are currently working locally.  Oftentimes, these folks are looking to dispose of excess material from the project sites and/or have stock piles at their yard.  Dirt is often free, what usually costs is the loading and hauling.

That said, not all dirt is equal or suitable for a given application (e.g., very porous soil, while capable of changing the topography, may drain too fast to direct water away as you desire).

Just about any local lumber yard will be glad to sell you doors... just call up and ask to speak to the sales manager and he/she can direct you to an appropriate rep.

That said, HD and Lowes do some crazy promotions at times and with like-kind brands, the product should be identical, so the quality should be too.  Keep in mind that with the big box stores, manufacturers often just give their product a different name.

Curious, doesn't your contractor have supplier relationships from which they would use to source the material?

@Lisa Hernandez, there are a variety of investment groups that meet... some are 'for profit' businesses (often REIAs), whereas other may just be small informal get-togethers that don't charge anything to participate.  Here on BP, there is a listing of networking events:  https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521-events-an... that you may find useful.

Good luck and enjoy!
