@Kimberly Rodrigues This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. Was there a seasoning period before you were able to do the refinance?

Hello,

I'm not familiar with Rome but wanted to suggested looking into meetup to see if there are any RE groups there or nearby that would have people that can point you in the right direction. You might have done this already but maybe calling some agents there or finding property management companies in that area?

Hi! Love househacking. Did it with my first investment property, a quadruplex in DC and did it again with a duplex when I move to TX. What type of advice are you looking for? In terms of financing, did the 3.5% FHA loan. Managed the property myself and I can send some resources I used for tenant finding. Let me know if you have specific questions I can answer. I'm new to the Atlanta market and would love to connect!

Hi Scot,

Yes, acquired the property at the end of February, waiting for permits. It’s in East Point.

Hiya! I started out as an investor and then got the license. I did an online course because I was somewhat familiar with some terms so depends on if you do better with online schooling or in person. I used the CE Shop and found their program to be quite comprehensive. They also offer sales all the time so might be cheaper than in person.

Hi Scot,

I have rentals in other states and just moved to Atlanta and doing my first flip here. I started out with rentals as I find them less risky than flips so it really depends on if you want to dive in head or get a little more comfortable. Will you be using HM for the rental portfolio also? I know many people do flips first to build up their capital for down payments on rentals. Many also go the BRRRR route for building their portfolio. Essentially, it boils down to your goals and your timeline for achieving them.

Hello,

Rentwell Delaware is a pretty great property management company. They have extensive experience in Wilmington. Highly recommend giving them a call.
