Thanks @JR C. Will check them out!

@Kelly N. Great suggestion! I thought i saw something online about still paying $.50 per ACH transaction. The rep I online chatted knew nothing about it though so I will check it out again. This just might be the solution. Thanks again!

Thanks @J Allen, I will look into Wave. I've also heard Venmo a couple of times. My sister uses it with her tenants so I'll discuss it with her.

@Ken Sauer Thanks for recommendation, getting ready to screen more tenants so this could be a nice all inclusive service. Thanks for also mentioning your concern about the strength of the company. My tenants have been tossed back and forth enough regarding rent payment. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion @Mimi H.! I will look into Venmo. My tenants all pay in the same week so it will be over $2999 a week so I'll check the fee for that. Thanks!!

Hello Everyone,

I've been using Intuit Payment Network to collect rent for some months and loved it. I received an email that it will no longer be available starting May 31st. Any suggestion on a great rent collection website/service to use? I've been looking through old post and I've seen Dwolla. Any others? Prefer recommendation based on personal use. Thanks.

Hello All,

I'm a newbie investor with a 4 unit apartment building in DC. The building is under my name as a sole proprietor. I am now ready to delve into flipping properties. An LLC has been approved. Now, I am trying to figure out the business license requirements for the business.

I have been getting mixed answers from the staff at DCRA. Any investors in Washington DC on here that have been through the process? Will the business license be under "General Business License?" Do I need a Home Occupancy Permit (one staff member says I do if I'll be conducting the business out of my home). Does RE investing constitute working out of your home? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Bolanle and I currently own a 4 unit building in DC. Getting married in October and will be moving to Odessa, TX. I am eager to start doing fix-and-flip in Odessa/Midland area or own rental properties, whichever makes more sense in that market. I am super excited about learning about the local market there and looking forward to learning from this great website. I wish I had discovered this resource before getting my first property, would have saved me some bad experiences and money. Ready to soak in as much knowledge as possible and connect with members.
