@Jason Cory Thanks for the heads up on mapping. 

It's almost impossible not to get political about this but I'll try to be rational.  In the midst of the teacher walk-out, which we supported, we also received a pretty large tax benefit from selling a couple of properties and not having to pay Oklahoma capital gains. If you've held a property for 5 years in Oklahoma, no capital gain tax is owed - seems pretty cool, right? But on the other hand, if the schools are terrible, and they are, where is the qualified workforce that will continue to grow our economy supposed to come from? We can't have it both ways.

@Paul Choate - as an Oklahoman and a bankruptcy guy, do you have an opinion on this?

I don't know the top three but I know that Becky Ivins' Movers Real Estate has been #1 several times.  They are a terrific firm to work with - smart, smart people there.

Welcome from an occupant of the Shepherd Historic District.  You must be one of those folks that are flipping my ENTIRE neighborhood. We have stumbled into a few leases but relative to rentals, they're more trouble than they're worth in the city, too many people in the pool, literally.  On the other hand, it might be necessary to own at least one lease to feel like a real Oklahoman.
