@Bjorn Ahlblad I was wondering more about other commercial besides offices.

For example there is a commercial building in Oregon that houses cash and carry and Platt. I thought both are reputable businesses.

Thank Struggle sometimes with real estate and feel like I am sucking blood on people. I know how hard is to make money especially from hard work and feel bad that so many people have to work so hard just to pay rent. I personally would be ok living in a shack and having some more financial freedom than throwing every penny I make to rent payment.

Wondering what are everyone thoughts about commercial real estate vs multi family. Wondering if this is a better time for commercial real estate vs multifamily?

@Dre Nichols wondering the same? That would be my biggest concern?

@Patrick Liska my property management charged me 7k for a house in great shape just touch up pain and carpet cleaning. It was just typical move in items

@Casey Crites i had the opposite experience with my property management. They had their own maintenance and were charging me about $1000 / month to do random no value added things such as unplugging tub and other no value added things.

They were so inefficient and definitely a conflict of interest. The more they make on maintenance the better for them.

These costs were after the house was move in ready per their input and charged me $7k for that and then continued with 1k/month on maintenance for a small single family.

I lost many nights of sleep but finally got rid of them. Thank God!

@Devin Monroe I wonder too. I bought a fourplex in McAllen, Texas (one of the cheapest places) and glad to break even with a pm. This seems to be the case in general there is such a small margin and then adding a pm leaves one definitely happy with breaking even

i am curious about tiny home community and wondering if you have done additional research since

@Abraham Kaplan I can’t remember, but there was a linking included with listing
