Hi guys,

Recently a bought a property on a discount in Orange Connecticut (new haven county). I bought if for 230k with a 10% downpayment and after a 30k rehab (cosmetic rehab, add a bathroom and add 122 sq footage) Im ready to refinance, the apraisal will come around 300k or more. The issue is no bank wants to refinance because I resign from my job in may and have been self employed for the last 3 months and they want to have at least 2 years of tax returns as a self employed (even if Im making more money now). Currently Im living on this property with my girlfriend.

My goal is to pull some cash out or open a Heloc. Ive try with a few banks and the thing I hear, its no.

Any suggestions or contacts please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Hi guys,

I just bought a house in Orange, Connecticut. It has a partial basement almost finish. It has their own separate entry door and 4 replacement windows and also has a 7 or more foot ceiling.

Does anybody has any experience on how to finish a basement up to code and laws about renting out basements?

Thank you!

Hey guys, Im a real estate investor with a few buy and hold in Connecticut. Currently I’m thinking about using a Heloc as a down payment for my next property. I have two questions: 1. Creating a line of credit will affect my DTI before I purchase the property? 2. Recommendations on how and which banks should I be using for a HELOC. Thank you,

Hey guys, thank very much for everything. I talked to the tenant and offer her $1000 and she agreed. She starting to pack already and she will be gone by Saturday (according to our agreement) It’s not the best solution but I learned a lesson, screen your tenants 3 times of possible! Thank you very much for all your help!

Hi Guys,

Im passing thru a tough time with one of my tenants.

She cant afford rent and I offered her a month for free if she leaves on Mat 1st. She signed a contract stating tha she will leave by May 1st, 2018. Last night she said you will have to evict me because I havent find a place yet. This tenant-landlord hasnt being easy.

This is a tough part of being a landlord. Can you give me any suggestions and also recommend a good eviction lawyer in Connecticut? Im located in West Haven, CT (new haven county)

Thank you
