Hey guys; can I get some thoughts on what you think about Carrollton Ave, between 22nd and 23rd (street over East from College)? College is a wonderful flip area, and Carrollton is a stone throw away, but given that Indy can vary substantially from street to street, I wanted some insight on what you guys think of that area. Cheers!

Hi @Steven Liu!!

I agree with Shawn. It can be a challenge, and it can be tough, but it can be done.

I'm currently going through what it is you're looking  to do (I'm a couple months in) and yes, it is hard at first, but persistence breaks resistance. So just keep at it, learn step by step, and eventual things fall into place. It can be easy to get discouraged, but you just gotta be willing to push through that.

Best of luck, and feel free to reach out.

Cheers!

Welcome to the site, Cory!! I'm here in Indy, and I myself am a couple of months out on the same journey you're looking to embark on. If you need any perspective from a fellow- but slightly lesser- novice, feel free to reach out!

Oh, and my condolences. I read you're attending IU- please accept my deepest sympathies. (BOILER UP!! hahaha)

@Kat W. Thanks Kat :P

@Brent Wright That's awesome you're constantly active, however! You're putting in the work, so I don't doubt you'll land your first one soon. Best of luck, boss :)

@Paul Timmins Yep!! Been going to REIAs for the last couple of months and have read The Book on Flipping Houses. I'm definitely going to take your other pieces of advice as well, however! Appreciate the reply!
