Sure thing Rene, my areas of expertise, if you grant me that, are buy and hold, due diligence, property management and business management.

I've never been to Cancun, or Mexico in general sadly, so I'm looking forward to the venue for sure and plan to make a trip to Chichen Itza after the conference. It's also always great to catch up with BP regulars I usually only get to see once a year at this conference.

As for connections, we're trying to start a construction company and offer services to local managers to do preventative maintenance inspections in order to take advantage of our infrastructure and increase revenue while we aren't buying much. Someone with experience in building companies like that would be great to talk to.

The keynote from ITR Economics is probably the session I'm looking forward to the most, particularly as the economy looks and seems rather precarious right now. The breakout panel on property management tips is also something I'll plan to attend I haven't brushed up as much as I'd like on technology/AI opportunities to optimize PM.

I was a software architect of a JSF subsystem.  In RE we traditionally have done brrrr and STRs.  BRRRRs have gotten old so now looking at higher end STR RE.

They usually announce the next year’s location at the closing session of the current BPCon.   I suspect this year will be the same, so look for next year’s location at the end of this year’s BPCon (so in just about a month from now).
