I was raised in Fayetteville, NC and left for college when I was 17. I attended UNC Chapel Hill and moved to the big city when I graduated. That city was Raleigh, and I experienced the happy accident of living in "the best place to live." Don't take my word for it. Just ask Forbes or Businessweek. Experience: I have been investing in SFR properties since 2004. I have a (very) small portfolio of four homes, which have mostly been my primary residences and then transitioned to rental property when I moved up. I also own a real estate and property management company called Trailwood Realty. It's a small operation with just three people. I enjoy helping investors find properties, and I've had a great experience being a property manager. I've been managing properties for others since 2010. Real Estate Goals: I'd like to try to flip a house. I've had this on my radar for a few years, and I think I finally have enough money to jump in. Now, I'm just looking for the right opportunity.
