Hey all,

My name is Leo and I moved to New Braunfels , TX a little over a year ago and got into real estate investing 5 months ago and have been networking and learning as much as I can while marketing for motivated sellers and looking for some deals. I joined BP to build my network and team up and hope to meet some great people on the site. Also the resources and information here is great and I wanted to get more involved with the site.

Hey Leo,

You definitely came to a great site to help you learn the ropes.

I've flipped and held several properties and work with a hard money lender regularly who has offered pretty solid rates thus far.

I used to live in San Antonio, but live in the Dallas Fort Worth area now. Both markets are about as good as it gets for what we're trying to do. Let me know if you ever wanna chat more about the business and I'll message you my #. Love sharing anything I've been fortunate to have learned about investment real estate.

Hey Andrew,

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I would love to chat some time, I could use all the help I can get :) New Braunfels is a tough market right now for starting investors, Its a war zone out there with bidding wars going on all the time so Ive been trying to find deals out in the surrounding areas like Seguin for wholesale opportunities to start building some capital that I can use for more leverage to buy more properties. I would love to hear how your deals have gone and the best ways you have found to use hard money and would appreciate any advice you have for a starting investor. :)

Thanks again,

-Leo

Welcome Leo - my hubby is from San Antonio, his mother and younger sister still live there and the older sister is in Fischer . . . after moving there from Seguin (teaches at U of T San Marcos).

Love the Schlliterbaun!!  (I'm sure I butchered the spelling on that!)

You will learn a lot through the BP Nation.

Hey Andrew,

I just posted my BP intro as well and, even though a couple of months old, it had your intro post from September. Congrats on moving into the San Antonio market. I think we are mirrored in networking goals in SA so I just wanted to reach out and introduce myself.

Thanks,

Brad

Hey Leo! I have an investment property in New Braunfels and more in San Antonio. Great market to invest in! The I-35 corridor is great I would also pay a lot of attention to San Marcos / Kyle / Buda in neighboring Hays County and I think Seguin and Northeast San Antonio are great too. Good luck!

@Gonz Trevino is giving good pointers, definitely do your research and go to local REIA meetings to ask face to face questions to successful investors in your area

@Leo ParkerSan Antonio is the best market! Why because of all the hospitals and nursing home. We are flooded by nurses all over the world. I work in a hospital and we have a lot of people from different places. I scout if you need one and I ask 200-500 scouting fee❤️

@Leo Parker Welcome to New Braunfels! I’ve lived here my whole life and have watched the city double in size in the last 15-20 years. There’s plenty of competition, but keep in mind that a lot of investors from SA do not want to flip here due to the city regulations/permitting, which can be quite a pain. However once you have figured it out, you will have a leg up on an out of town investor.
