Recommendation for realtors/turn key providers in Kansas City
Hello,
I have been planning to by an investment home for a buy and hold and Kansas City is one of the markets that I have been interested in.
I called a few realtors but I haven't come across an Invester friendly realtor yet but I am hoping there are plenty.
Can anyone recommend a realtor that works with out of state investors ?
Should I consider turnkey?
I appreciate your time
Thank you !
Abigail,
I can help you out. I am both a realtor and turn-key provider.
I work with investors through the nation and over seas.
Let me know how I can help.
I can help with that in Jacksonville FL if neede.
Abigail T. If you are new to investing then turnkey is a good way to gain some experience, learn a market, and make some connections. BUT very important to find the right turnkey company. I hear good reviews about a company called USREEB for Kansas City. However I have yet to use them or invest in that market. Good luck!

I like the KC housing stock I would look out of the urban core and try to find some of those nice ranchers in the suburbs

Be careful! I'm a local and know the area pretty well. Those turnkey properties in the urban core look good on paper, but the areas are almost always horrible. You really need to visit the areas before taking the dive.
Hi. I just got back from Kansas City to meet with a total of 4 turnkey providers that I picked out from about 8 providers and agents. There were surely all deferent, some good some bad. Looked at about 18 SFH to see their work. All in all my trip was great and so happy I went to check it out and not buy blindly. I had put offers on two properties. We will see how it goes. Feel free to PM me if you would like more info. BTW this is my first investment deal too, so I am quite new at this.
Good Luck!
@Jessica Wise That's awesome that you visited would love to hear about your experience. I will pm you
@Thang Cao I do plan to visit but not sure if I should put a home under contract prior to visiting.
@Jay Hinrichsthanks for the tip!
Can you share your experience with us? I am planning on going there next week in order to get a feel for the market. Who did you end up meeting with? Any positive or negatives? What was your feeling about the market? Did you end up buying anything? Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. You can always PM as well.
Thanks
Sam
Hey Abigail! I've been working with a great turnkey provider in KC, if you want their contact info.
(disclaimer: I may be offered a referral fee if you end up buying from them)
Abigail T. I'm in the middle of my first deal with a KC turnkey company. Under contract. So far great experience. I interviewed several and am very happy with my choice so far.
My current project closes in mid March so a little more to do, but it's all looking very good. I have a project management background and I'm happy
Message me if you want their contact info.
Good luck!
Chad
@Abigail T.I second what @Jay Hinrichssaid about staying out of the urban core. There's a lot of real cheap properties in the inner city that look good on paper but these areas are crime riddled. In my opinion, you're better off focusing on the suburban outskirts east of the 435 loop. There are a lot of good B and C class neighborhoods with very good returns. We sell turn key properties in those areas, I'd be happy to share my insight about Kansas City with you in more detail if you'd like.
