I have a space in my home where I do all of my desk office-type work, but it is not dedicated to real estate.

For me, weekly check-ins and just being real with my team—like saying, “Hey, I’m not sure, let me check on that”—have saved so many situations.

Because you're new, it is a good idea to ask about the brokerage's agent training offerings and potential teams to join to get experience. 

Hey Themis, it sounds like you already have a solid foundation in real estate from working in the commercial industry, so it should be a pretty smooth transition into doing your own investments.I would put a lot of focus on building out your team of contractors.

Hi All,I am an investor, and Property Manager on the SW side in Chicago- I recently passed my RE Exam and looking for a sponsoring broker that I can team up with and learn the ropes.

Also, our team has a lot of experience in working with Sec 8 residents and getting properties approved.

Navigating property management in the U.S. has been a bit of a learning curve as I am looking to build a good team.
