Services like ZipCar in my humble opinion are just a temporary phenomenon.  

A few other things on the North Shore and then quick a few things on the South Shore down to the Cape.

I currently work part time as a Realtor on the South Shore and I would like to start investing to build long term wealth.

My market here on the Jersey shore is nuts and while the deal in front of me is fairly priced, 25% down is a big nut for my first rental property.

In the short term, we need to incentivize manufacturers to make mission-critical goods here on our shores.  

The big one is depreciation which is just(Purchase price - land value) divided by 27.5 is what you get to deduct as an expense for 27.5 yearsThe other one is QBI which at the moment is temporary for ten years but essentially a 20% deduction for business income as long as you meet certain requirements like time spent on working for the business etc.

I'm from the South Shore area of Massachusetts, currently live near Florence, Alabama but will be relocating to Nashville with my girlfriend come January. 

I grew up on the south shore and then moved to the west coast after college for a few years.

Often times clients want to test drive a neighborhood before committing and are looking for temporary placement but with all the comforts of home.
