I understand how broad this question can be, but I was intersted in a second voice while I can.Thank you all for your replies!

The property is 3.8 acres that sits right off the interstate in a rural part of town.

Mostly interested in property off Interstate 80, Rocklin, Loomis, Penryn, Newcastle, Auburn, Meadow Vista, and Roseville. 

Had an outside the box idea to purposefully purchase properties lining the interstates here in Birmingham for the dual purpose of constructing a new billboard in the backyard and renting that also.

That's where this growing interst in real estate investing comes in.I flirted with the idea in my younger days, but as I considered my meager income, my interest waned.Also, I'm tired of being a tenant.

@J Scott intersting point about owning the property never would have thought of that at all. 

The billboard is legal and along a major interstate in Southern California.  

Where to look would depend on your target demographic, but the North side of town off the interstate or out in Pueblo West would be great areas to start. 

Look at all that's being planned with the new northbound interstate going in.
