Will it hurt to knock on the door and see if someone is there....If so, maybe be able to take a peek at the place?

I do door to door sales. This guy was so impressed he ended up finding me down the street shortly after. He lived in a massive house. But he wants to hire me due to my talent. He wants me do cold calling to set up lea...

They knock on doors and get a lot of them slammed in their faces.

My 2 cents:1) Keep your expectations in check; few are knocking it out of the park.

If you can't figure that out then go knock on their door. 

I don’t knock that by any means, but I just take a look around and figure that instead of purchasing large diesel trucks and campers and letting money sit, I could invest it intelligently and move on to owning a small business of sorts.

Driving by the home talking to neighbors or even a knock  on the door can yield a wealth of information.
