A beautiful 2br/1ba near Lake Merritt with views can go from $2,500-$4k, w/ parking and the "right stuff."

The beauty of college students I think is that you can get by with things like that. 

Maybe I will see you in late night infomercial as the next real estate guru superstar...sitting by a pool surrounded by beautiful women (LOL).

I've got a condo that cash flows beautifully that I'd really like to pull cash out of.  

The development, although beautiful and self sufficient (grocery stores, schools, etc) it is in the middle of no where and about a 30-40 minute drive to the nearest city.I wouldn't want to invest in a pre-construction  project where the community is already struggling with vacancies.  

San Diego is a beautiful city but unfortunately we don't have good cash flowing properties for investors here =( Have you been to any of the local REI meetups here?

It can feel very competitive when surrounded by other talented striving students, however, just like other careers, it would need commitment and deligence to stay in the industry,  most especially after graduating.

Having a buyers list is one thing, but having a fast acting buyers list is another and its something you should strive for. 

I think he was a little ahead of his time.When I was listening and presenting. there was a developer from Idaho and he had a nice project up at McCall ( unbelievably beautiful place)  but he got NO action.The one company that did the best had an on line game that would compete with Worlds of War craft or whatever you call that game that is played all over the place. they raised millions in that setting.. not being a game guy I did not invest..
