I did have some questions on areas of interest, Tech Terrace, Rush, etc, as well as finding investor friendly Realtors, Property Managers, Closing Agents, Title Companies, Contractors, etc.

Surrounding houses are a mix of styles, mostly from 70's (dated.)I know that having a building lot with the "secluded" look will limit our potential buyer pool, but, since the woods/trees/topology will (mostly) block the view of the surrounding neighbors, the hope is that it will allow us to build a higher-end (quartz, viking appliances, etc) house that would potentially otherwise look "out of place" if it were built on a level, completely cleared lot.

Obviously it would be hard to play both sides of that coin as the startup sole proprietors won't be happy about leaving once the Halloween costume store wants to exercise their seasonal lease.A client of mine was very successful in getting above market footage rates by converting space that was conducive to tech startups needing space.

I think traditional indoor suburban malls are struggling.I interviewed a commercial broker who provided some keys to pay attention to:- Population- Tenant mix; grocery, service oriented are good- Size of bays; too big is not goodLet me know if you want the link to the interview and I can send it to you.
