I also had the opportunity to go to grad school and currently seeking a degree in construction project management.

I graduated with a finance degree from the University of Iowa in 2014 and worked as a financial analyst in Des Moines, IA for a while.

And I have been a Tax Accountant for 32 years, and a former Tax Examiner for the IRS, and as for educating myself, I have a BBA in Finance and a Doctorate Degree in Law.  

While no direct correlation exists between Law Enforcement and real estate investing I can say, with a good degree of certainty, that my profession has prepared me quite well for this next adventure.

They graduate from the Universities with BS degrees and not JOB's with which to save money for a down payment on a home.

My husband was in charge of that (he actually has an MBA degree, not that it really helps that much ;) ).

A good deal will insulate you to some degree from the short term market cycles, as will not over leveraging.Keep a long term mindset with your investments.

I'd also like to pursue a bachelor's degree at FIU and hopefully make my first investment in the first 3-6 months of the new year.
