Hello everyone!

My name is Dayessi Alvarez, and I am currently a Real Estate Student at Lansing Community College in Lansing, MI. I was born and raised in Miami, FL and look forward to be moving back home in January, after graduation.

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am to be a member here at BiggerPockets. It seems that with every Google search I made in regards to real estate, BiggerPockets was always mentioned as a great source.

With that being said, I have little to no experience in real estate investing. I'm just a young individual with high hopes of becoming a successful investor and establishing some financial freedom. I've always had a passion for houses. As a matter of fact, my hobbies mostly consist of looking at listings and fantasizing about the renovations and upgrades that I would do them.

In terms of my goals and aspirations in real estate, I would really love to jump start my career once I move back home. I'd also like to pursue a bachelor's degree at FIU and hopefully make my first investment in the first 3-6 months of the new year.

Enough about me! I am beyond excited to meet some fellow members and possibly read about your experiences, personal gains and unfortunate losses in real estate. Truly looking forward to gaining some insight into what real estate investing is like and maybe even make some new friends :)

Thanks!!!
