Industrious Seeking Multi-Family Experience in Minneapolis

Hi everyone! My name is Ryan Vondran. I graduated with a finance degree from the University of Iowa in 2014 and worked as a financial analyst in Des Moines, IA for a while. I recently moved to the Twin Cities and am excited to begin my career in the real estate industry.

My long-term goal is to create financial independence through real estate investing. Even if it takes decades to achieve, I'm prepared to see it through. Plans can and do change, but investing for cash flow via multi-family makes the most sense to me.

My investing mindset began after listening to Peter Lynch's audio book, "One Up On Wall Street" at age 9 and has continued to this day. I've invested my own money, and helped manage my parents' retirement portfolio since 2010, beating all market indexes. This is accomplished through exploiting market structural inefficiencies by specializing in under-valued small-cap equities with solid industry tailwinds, terrific management, and competitively differentiated business models.

Like many on the BP podcasts, "Rich Dad Poor Dad" spurred my real estate curiosity. While I'd read it a few years back, it wasn't until rereading in late 2015 that everything clicked. Investing for cash flow, tax advantages, and prudently using leverage won me over.

I'm extremely excited to join the BP community and learn as much as possible about all facets of the industry from you! Thanks for your time and I very much look forward to meeting everyone!
