Totally agree @Jon Holdman, somewhere we went from the old Walmart philosophy of selling cheap goods but selling them cheaply to everyone selling the same crappy cheap goods but now charging premiums for them.

I recently tried to verify an applicant's employment information with Walmart and was told by a Walmart manager they have a blanket policy that they will not give out any information whatsoever other than confirming the employee works there.
