You may be able to get many materials at the Habitat for Humanity Restore or other discount locations.

It will pay big dividends down the road.....Maybe get a job working in the industry, or if you already have a full-time job you like, start volunteering to help friends do projects, or Habitat For Humanity kinda things.Other than that, I agree that this forum is a fantastic place to gain knowledge, and people here are willing to give you the benefits of their experience.

Pregnancy resource center, my local church, rental assistance programs, Young Life, free housing and financial donations to a food pantry, buying 4H animals at the county fair, kids sports, Habitat for Humanity, etc.I recommend separating business and charity.

Go to a local Habitat Restore and see what they have in stock.

Joining a habitat for humanity or something along those lines can allow you to make connections while doing good for the community.
