Prior to starting the mortgage approval process we want to get some insight into how to best structure our future empire.

I expect the land to value around 25,000, the amount we need to borrow will be around 225,000 (without factoring in land equity if we choose to go that route), and I'm guesstimating that the house will appraise for about 200,000.Our bank told us in the past that they loan 85% of the appraised value of the house that will be constructed. 

I have several properties in Land Trusts and I have to deed them back to a series LLC when refinancing. 

Now subtract out the trophy assets like the empire state building.  

I am not investing in land, I am investing in REAL ESTATE.

If you are interested in condominium investments, then you may have something to keep an eye on and I would guess in land locked areas there is only one way to grow and that it up - with a condo tower.  

My farms are mostly inland and desert towns.

first, MG, anything is possible..within reason (i.e. you can't jump off the empire state bldg and live...duh), but most things within any reach of being possible - are!
