@Logan HicksI understand that part of it, however there are many positions in public service that qualify for loan forgiveness which is a benefit to a job that can help offset a lower salary than what one would earn in the private sector.

As they talked, my colleague told him that he knew someone who was hiring in that sector, and while he couldn't promise him a job, he could at least get him an interview.
