Unless new companies move into the town and set up new operations creating replacement jobs that pay similar wages and require similar skills, the only jobs available will soon be lower-paying service sector jobs.

Owner financing, or carrying your own paper, can make you good money and this is a much less competitive sector than traditional stick-built homes.

From my experience Lenders don't really care if you find another job within the same job sector but if you change careers that is another story, (Been there done that).

Then the counties will end up with the higher property tax assessments they so badly need to make up for the shortfalls in other sectors of their economy.So you see... as the report shows... we are not only not the bad guys, but we are starting to become necessary, whether the mainstream media and governments of all levels like it or not.

@Logan HicksI understand that part of it, however there are many positions in public service that qualify for loan forgiveness which is a benefit to a job that can help offset a lower salary than what one would earn in the private sector.

As they talked, my colleague told him that he knew someone who was hiring in that sector, and while he couldn't promise him a job, he could at least get him an interview.
