Hubzu.com

Phoned Hubzu.com today.

Turns out I was speaking to a young, very young person in the Philippines, he said.

It sounded like an accent from India. He said Philippines.

The posted [REMOVED]  number says to phone to inquire

about specifics and conditions.

However, they tell you that they do not have any specifics of any kind, and to go see it as it is sols AS IS.

When I first phoned he was asking me to verify my phone number, and he started saying the number... but, was way off. I found that odd.

To place a bid, we have to give all our information, even the birth date...

They are out of the Country, and will have all our information.

I contacted the Real Estate Agent we knew, and he replied to just go online, and did not show us the house...

I contacted the Realtor posted online on Hubzu... repeatedly, and, he never replied at all.

Question: Should we even place a bid?

We don't know the specifics or condition.

We have never seen the property, except online, what was posted and Google Earth...

Should we trust and try? Or, be foolish and risk even being defrauded?

My perception:

Real Estate has become an overpriced nonsensical nightmare...

Overpriced, JUNK, shacks, messes, filthy messes, REO, Short Sale, Foreclosure...

For a Buyer trying to function and go forward...

is a nightmare, not a dream home purchase.

Online is falsely advertised. We get there, and it never is as depicted online.

Some Realtors say to search online, and some say not to, as it is inaccurate...

House hunting in Twilight Zone.
