Hi there,A friend of mine is in need of an estate planner who either specializes in real estate, or is particularly well-versed in estate planning where real estate is involved (e.g. someone who can provide more guidance than just blanketly recommending a QPRT).

I currently work in downtown Chicago, consulting as an urban designer and planner.

Anyone know of a good tax planner or CPA that I can best figure out my plan going forward. 

City of Boise planners will be a big help for any development needs.will DM a great home inspector.

There were also days when there were a few earlier appointments with architects or city planners things like that.

Talk with a financial planner,, not all eggs in one basket.. 

My realtor and I went to city hall with a preliminary drawing and the planner said it would not meet the subdivision guidelines.

You should probably check with a city planner as to what the majors that you would need to bring up to code and then go from there.

I may want to consult a local lawyer anyway to confirm it and explore other options such as building an addition (perhaps a carriage house). you know in most cities you simply walk into the planning department and talk with a planner and have them walk you through the zoning codes and there will be clear cut language what is allowed out right and what takes a use permit at staff level and what needs to go to the planning commission etc.
