What are good Business Hours

A friend of mine when I was much younger, who taught me the commercial development side of this business--stores-- Kept business hours Noon to 5 or 6:00 PM, 6 or 7 days a week.

Starting out at noon, Getting organized for the day based on a predetermined plan for that day, and then spending from about 1:30 in the afternoon until about 3:00 PM making and returning business calls.

The calls included development related calls as well as landlord related calls for commercial spaces he owned and managed.

If the calls rolled over that time he would hang in there until around 5:00 o'clock dealing with them.

There were also days when there were a few earlier appointments with architects or city planners things like that.

If the calls did not run longer, there would be development site visits, and owned property walkthroughs  per written schedule for the day.

The rest of the time was family time, and he had run this business this way for over 25 years, and it worked out very well for him.

I tend to work as much as I need to to feel comfortable with something no matter what time it is of the day or night, or what day it is. Rather than keeping a set business schedule, and a set personal time.

Does anyone care to share their work habits with the group?

Are your current work habits serving you well, or would you like to tweak them a bit?

Did you learn them from someone, or come up with them on your own?

Does your W2 job interfere much with your real estate endeavors?

Are you doing by and hold, or flips or something else?

If you'd like, let us know below.
