Immerse yourself in this stuff - like the others have said, this can be accomplished tons of ways.  

The key is to make real estate activities a part of your daily life, the more immersed you become the faster you'll succeed. 

Take baby steps and start immersing yourself in the industry.

I've read quite a few books and have watched and listened to countless hours of podcasts and videos over the past couple of months, trying to immerse myself and soak up as much RE investment information as possible.

At this stage, you should be fully immersing yourself in the crazy amount of educational resources at your fingertips.

I have been immersed in the real estate realm for a while and am pretty early to the idea of partnering.

Start learning about houses, even take some of the free Home Depot classes, buy some of the How-To books, just immerse yourself in everything Real Estate.

My co-worker (at a property management firm), recommended goin to the real estate school.I would also suggest getting a job doing something related, such as working as a leasing agent, property manager, or something similar to start immersing yourself into the field and becoming familiar with the lingo, and how business is done.

Since then, I have been completely immersing myself in the podcasts, blogs, and videos that this site has to offer.I am 41 and have a fantastic family.
