Some brokers like Keller Williams and Reamax have teams, which is good because usually the team leader is a top producer and will hand you some referrals they don't want to bother with because they are too small of a deal.

The first two books (Keller/Villani) are very good, and I highly recommend them to any aspiring investor.The next two books (Strauss/Eldred) I wasn't thrilled with and I wouldn't recommend.

I would suggest the bigger pockets beginner guide its a great one, also you have to read Gary Keller's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, its very similar to this website it gives you practicable advice that you can move on.
