I hear a lot of good reasons to have a real estate license while doing either rentals or flips. Does anyone know how you can get a real estate license in new york state? everywhere I look it almost sounds like you need to be 'sponsored' by one of the 'agencies' (hunt etc)

any help is appreciated!
