Much of my success was due to joining my local REIA and getting to know the people doing flips in my area.  

A few good things to include in your introduction: Who you are, why you joined BP community forums, any experience you have had in real estate and/or what you're hoping to do in the future!

We ARE a chapter of National REIA, so joining gets the paint discount, cabinet program, and rebate - as well as access to all the other national vendor perks and programs.We're in process of getting local vendors and sponsors lined up as we move forward.Starting in September, meetings will take place in the evening on the 3rd Thursday of each month, 5-9pm, food and non-alcoholic refreshments provided (buy your own booze). 

Asking on Airbnb could get you banned and reaching directly through email may get to the lead management more quickly. 4) Join local Facebook groups in the area and reach out there.

I decided to join BP because while I think I’m a newbie, there’s always someone greener than myself that I might just be able to help.

I've been hit up by a couple of companies to do rental arbitrage so that they can do STR themselves - but I'm not sure how to properly vet them out and make sure they're legitimate.

I HIGHLY recommend you join a few (the names have already been mentioned in previous posts).
