I love to mountain bike in Bootleg Canyon and Blue Diamond at least once or twice a year with friends who live out there.

There are also a few good groups in the area such as the RI Real Estate Investors Group (rireig.com) and Black Diamond REI (blackdiamondrei.com) which I recommend mainly because 1) I've been there, 2) they don't seem to try to sell you stuff, and 3) they're run by investors and have good info.

As Steve mentioned there is a very good meeting (Black Diamond) that meets in Worcester (with another location in Waltham as well) and a very good REIA meeting in Chelmsford.

In your area the best one to check out is the Black Diamond meeting that meets in Worcester.

Best bets are the NEREIA in Chelmsford and the Black Diamond meetings in Worcester and Waltham.

I know have respect for you guys who find a diamond in the rough or a vision, and my frustration is now becoming an obsession.

Mike has 2 meeting right by you on the North shore, there is another good REIA in Chelmsford, going towards the city there is the Boston AREIA in Medford, the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (2nd location in Worcester), a quarterly meetup in Woburn and a bunch more if you go more South or into NH.

They are only on the public roads in the actual residential areas and they have their own DIAMOND lane.

The Black Diamond meetings are superb and the next one is in Waltham on Tuesday.
