@Robin CasperOne error in your accusation....by definition, in a short sale the bank does Not own the property, the borrower still does and yes, they have the right to rent it out or let their agent rent it out.

Ugly because the listing agent did not supply the documents and information we had requested in the inspection resolution, and when I called to ask for them and tell her we would not be closing until we had received them, she unleashed a torrent of venom on me, accusing me of being unethical, not acting in good faith, threatening to report me to the board, etc.In her defense, we had asked for them to be provided at closing, but it was an hour before, and she still had not provided them.
