I wanted to see if any of you have any experience using what is known as a "physician/doctor loan". this type of loan is available for medical professionals (dentists, podiatrists, surgeons, etc) that usually lets them borrow about certain LTV limits and not have to pay PMI. the down payment requirements are usually a lot less (sometimes as low as 3-5%).

In my location a blueprint with no architect stamp just means that I have to follow the prescriptive building code with respect to window area, insulation, framing connections, etc. and that I need separate engineering for the trusses and beams.
