Any suggestions on a hard money lender $350k (prefer someone or company on Maui), any suggestions or experiences? Called a few with offices on Oahu and ones outside of Hawaii. Got a deal under contract but want to see other options.

@Jay Dang to clarify this was not a quick flip, it was a 7 year buy and hold that I sold a few years ago... not sure why this posted in the forums, I added it to my profile under the investments category that has the dates. But in terms of the actual short sale, it went fairly quick 1 month. Might have been because we bought it at the end of the year and they were trying to close out the file. I've had other people experience a year or longer wait.

Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) fix & flip investment.

Purchase price: $350,000
Cash invested: $60,000
Sale price: $630,000

Partnered with a family member and purchased a short sale listed on the MLS, attached duplex with a 3bd/2bth unit and a 2bd/1bth unit as our primary residence. Made $40k in improvements and planned to keep but circumstances changed so we decided to sell. Luckily we did and this turned into my first accidental "long term" flip that peaked my interest in real estate investing (especially after I got that 6 digit escrow check)!

@Mike Neubauer We used Pacific Appraisal Solutions Igor Medo twice, both times appraised higher than when we did the numbers on recent sales, sq footage, etc. Fast and easy to work with. Will use again on our next property!
