@Jon Fletcher im under contract for a house where i put in the contract no buyers agent commission to be paid. I dont see the point in paying earned income tax on what is already my own money.

@Nicholas Landis from what i understand a 3d printer is only doing the easiest and cheapest part of the home-structural walls.

Would the roof, foundation, windows, siding, soffit, drywall, cabinets, trim, electrical, plumbing, hvac, flooring and etc not have to be done in a more typical fashion?

@Jay Hinrichs gotta agree with you...i would think it would be much easier to have a seller agree to sell their home for a 6% commission instead of for half the value to a wholesaler.

@Arjun S. Bear in mind that the lumber futures have only recently begun falling. Prices what contractors pay have not fallen as much yet. Contractor may have purchased lumber at top of market.

Im constantly amazed at what some of you in other areas have to go thru for permits. Here in the county im in I can build a new house and the permit for the house is free, the driveway permit cost me like 50 bucks...not sure what the septic permit cost as the excavator pulled that. My drawings cost me like 500 bucks and to be honest a handdrawn print would suffice. To top it off if it is already a platted lot and I have the soil testing done for septic I could get all the permits in an easy morning.
